Lydia: "I can do a lot of things. Like I'm good at singing, and singing is the thing that I've miralys always wanted to do. They look different, but when I'm with them, I have a very good impression of them. They're very nice to me and I just think it's a great country and the people I meet there are wonderful."

Lydia: "What do you have to say to young people in the Caribbean about homosexuality and bisexuality?"

Lydia: "Well, it's always easy when you've got a white male to say, "Why can't you be gay?" I think it's a very sad problem in Jamaica. It's a sad problem, and it's meet australian guys just not acceptable in Jamaica to be gay. So, the problem is with our culture. It's something that's a little different in the Caribbean, but it's something that's been around forever. It's something that we've just got to get rid of."

"I'm a big fan of the Beatles, they're my favourite band and I love all their songs. But they didn't go on to have gay relationships. They didn't have it and I think I'm gay."
