Born in 1962, Peter Gaye was the youngest of four children in a family of farmers from Trinidad and Tobago. As a child, he was an avid tennis player and athlete. He is also credited with producing the songs for many of the classic films such as, "Cinderella," "The Little Mermaid," and "Winnie the Pooh." He served as the voice of the main character, Pooh, in a number of Disney movies including, "The Jungle Book" (1989), "The Aristocats" (1991), "Finding Nemo" (2003), and "Pocahontas" (2012). In 2007, he became the first person of color to voice a character on a Disney Channel series. As the founder of the RCA Recordings , Gaye produced numerous hit albums during his career. His first album, "Cinderella" (1970), was a big success, and he went on to produce several more hits, "Cinderella" being the most successful of these. He is also the recipient of the Grammy Award for Album of the Year for "Cinderella."
In the mid-1980's, Gaye and Pooh's friendship blossomed, but soon they became enemies. It was at this time that Pooh lost his memory. The psychiatrist asked the psychiatrist if they could take his son home, and the psychiatrist said that they could. The psychiatrist took Pooh home, but he was diagnosed as bipolar. Pooh then started to show a strange behavior. Pooh wouldn't eat anything.
